| I am currently engaged in two personal projects. Bodyscapes: Exploring the Male Landscape There are many ways to view the unclothed body: nude, naked, sensual, sexual, erotic. Sometimes we are attracted to it; at other times we are repulsed, or have no response at all. Too often--I believe--we objectify people, turning them into the bodies they inhabit. In 2008 I began to ask myself how else the body might be photographed in a way that would cause people to re-engage with their own body and with the bodies of others. Portraits in Pride Portraits in Pride is a celebration of the LGBT community. It is about how each of us is so very different. And it is about all that we as humans have in common. I have been shooting this portfolio for most of my professional career; I anticipate that it will continue to grow. This site includes a brief introduction to Portraits in Pride.
